We’ve been named one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2026

The results are in. Funding Circle has officially made The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2026 list in the Big Organisation category.
This recognition belongs entirely to our team. Every single day, Circlers show up ready to back UK small businesses with the funding they need to win. Last year, we launched our 'People Pact' – a shared commitment to be all in, grow fast, and make a real difference together.
What makes this award special is that it is decided by the team. It comes on the back of a record 74% employee engagement score in 2025, which jumped 10 points in just twelve months.
“We are incredibly proud of this recognition,” says Lisa Jacobs, our CEO. “Our success comes down to the hard work of our team. We invest heavily in our culture to make sure everyone has the environment they need to do their best work. Because of their dedication, we put billions of pounds of credit into the hands of thousands of UK small businesses every year.”
The work we do reaches far beyond finance. In 2025, the lending through Funding Circle’s platform, made possible by its team of Circlers, helped support 117,000 jobs and added £7.9 billion to the UK economy.
We want to build a workplace where everyone, no matter their background or experience, has the confidence to be themselves. When our people thrive, small businesses thrive.
