We are sharing an update on your Retail Investment account, along with the simple steps to take out your remaining funds and save your financial records.

First of all, thank you. By investing with Funding Circle, you helped thousands of small businesses get the cash they needed to grow, hire, and keep moving forward. You played a direct part in backing local businesses right across the UK.

Here is where your account stands today and how to clear your remaining balance.

Portfolio status

What this means for you:

• No extra payments or money will enter your account.

• Any cash left in your account is sitting idle and earning zero interest.

To keep your money working hard for you elsewhere, we ask all remaining retail investors to take out or transfer their balances today.

Next steps: how to move your funds

How you move your money depends on the type of account you have. Please review these steps carefully to protect your cash:

Standard cash accounts (non-ISA)

• Log into your Funding Circle account on a web browser.

• Withdraw your money to your nominated bank account or add a new bank account on the ‘withdrawals’ tab

Innovative finance ISA (IFISA) accounts

Do not make a direct manual cash withdrawal from an IFISA account to your bank account. Doing so will permanently lose the tax-free status on that money.

To keep your tax-free status:

• Pick a new ISA provider.

• Ask your new ISA provider for an official ISA Transfer Out.

• Your new provider will get in touch with us directly to handle the move without breaking your tax cover.

Download your account statements

While moving your money, take a quick moment to download your past tax statements and reports. Keeping these on your device will make your future tax self-assessments much easier.

Complete your account closure today

Please log into your Funding Circle account to check your final balance, download your documents, and start your withdrawal or transfer.
