What do you do at Funding Circle?

I’m in charge of all things related to credit reporting as well as overseeing complaints and disputes.

What’s your favorite thing about working at Funding Circle?

There are already so many attributes of Funding Circle that have impressed me in my first three weeks. However, the culture would have to be my favorite! It’s so rich with passion and camaraderie that it is contagious and inspiring. I love having that excitement to come in to and being able to make a difference every day!

What does “made to do more” mean to you?

To me, it means going above and beyond, and continually striving to be the best. It’s not coming in every day and simply “checking boxes.” It’s thinking outside of the box and bringing your peers, team, and organization to the next level.

What’s your favorite small business to frequent?

The Rolling Pin Bakeshop – a local French bakery that was opened by a fabulous couple that lives in my neighborhood here in Denver. The croissants are seriously the best I have ever had!

If you could start any small business, what would you sell/offer?

One of my dreams is to start an international-reaching dog shelter, as I’ve always been passionate about animals, especially dogs. I have been to many countries where there is an opportunity to not only help with the stray population, but also help educate local communities about the value of domesticated pets. I think the power of animals is sometimes as untapped treasure.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I am very lucky to live in an awesome part of Denver where the food and bar scene is very progressive. I love trying all the new spots in town with friends and family. When I am not in Denver, I love traveling the world.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?

I would love to have the power to heal. There is so much sickness and disease that destroys families, and it would be great to be able to take that pain away for others.

What was the first thing you wanted to be when you grew up?

I always wanted to be a veterinarian growing up. Then I found out I would probably have to deal with snakes, which was a deal breaker.
