Funding Circle bolsters Board with appointment of Cath Keers

  • Cath Keers will join leading global small business loans platform
  • Total loans facilitated through Funding Circle’s platform have now surpassed £4.5 billion globally, supporting more than 45,000 businesses in the UK, US and Europe

Funding Circle, the global small business loans platform, today announced the appointment of Cath Keers as a non-executive board member.

Keers has over three decades of professional and leadership experience within the retail, consumer, digital, and technology sectors. She currently serves as a Non-Executive Director for Sage Group and TalkTalk.

Cath is also Chairman of ustwo which provides digital products and services to clients such DeepMind and Jaguar Land Rover. Previous roles include being a main board director at O2, and non-executive director at Royal Mail, LV= and Home Retail Group. She has extensive commercial experience, including marketing and business development at Sky TV, Avon and Next; marketing director and customer director at O2 and chairman of Tesco Mobile, O2’s joint venture with the supermarket Tesco.

Today’s news comes as lending through the Funding Circle platform surpasses £4.5 billion, including more than £2 billion in loans under management globally, and over $1 billion of loans facilitated through Funding Circle’s platform to date in the US.
